Center-seal pouches with folded side panels (gussets) that expand when filled, giving a brick-like stand-on-shelf shape with significantly more volume than a flat center-seal pouch of the same width. The structure is ideal for chowmein, noodles, snacks, fryums, namkeen, and any product that needs a substantial face area for branding plus a stable upright pack.

What is the difference between a flat center-seal pouch and a center-seal side-gusset pouch?+
A flat center-seal pouch is essentially a sealed tube — printed face, back seam, top and bottom seal. A side-gusset version adds folded side panels that expand when the pouch is filled, so the pouch holds more volume and stands upright on shelf with a defined front, back, and two side faces.
Should I use 2-layer or 3-layer?+
2-layer PET + LDPE is standard for short shelf-life products like fresh noodles, chowmein, and snacks. 3-layer with MET PET adds full barrier against light, oxygen, and moisture — needed for tea, spices, dried foods.
Can the side gussets carry a printed design?+
Yes. Gussets are printed in the same rotogravure pass as the front and back, so brand colour, ingredient panels, or a transparent window can extend across all four visible sides.
