Chowmein / Noodles Packaging Pouches
Center-seal side-gusset pouches for chowmein, instant noodles, and dry pasta.
Chowmein and noodles are high-rotation FMCG packs that need a strong front face for branding, a transparent or printed gusset to show the product, and a structure that holds significant volume per pouch. Our center-seal side-gusset pouches in 2-layer PET + LDPE or 3-layer with MET PET (full barrier against light, oxygen, and moisture) deliver all three. Available in glossy, matt, and registered-matt finishes — and in flat center-seal format for smaller pack sizes.

FAQ
Which pouch format works best for chowmein?+
For retail packs of 150 g to 400 g, a center-seal side-gusset pouch is the standard — it holds the volume, stands upright on shelf, and gives a substantial front-face area for branding. For smaller 100 g sachet packs, a flat center-seal pouch is more economical.
2-layer or 3-layer laminate?+
2-layer PET + LDPE provides moisture barrier and seal strength for standard chowmein and noodle packs. 3-layer with MET PET adds full barrier against light, oxygen, and moisture — useful for premium noodles, masala-coated varieties, or where oil migration is a concern. Real-world pack performance depends on the product, packing conditions, and storage at the destination.
Can the pouches have a clear window so customers can see the noodles?+
Yes. A transparent window panel — either on the front face or on a side gusset — is possible. The window is achieved by leaving a portion of the PET unprinted; the rest of the pouch carries your full 8-colour rotogravure artwork.
What is the typical MOQ?+
Standard MOQ is 300 kg of laminated film per design. Final MOQ depends on pack size, structure, and number of colours, and is confirmed in our written quotation.
