Frequently asked questions

Everything we get asked about MOQ, materials, lead time, cylinder ownership, artwork format, and delivery. Don't see your question? Ask us directly.

MOQ & pricing

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+

For laminated rolls and pre-made center-seal or three-side-seal pouches, MOQ is 300 kg of laminated film per design. For stand-up zipper pouches, MOQ is 500 kg per design — the heavier laminate spec and zipper conversion need a longer run to amortise the setup cost. The formal MOQ for your order is stated in the quotation we issue.

How is pricing calculated?+

Per kilogram of laminated film, based on the layer structure (2-layer vs 3-layer), substrate materials (PET, MET PET, BOPP, LDPE), finish (glossy / matt / window), and number of print colours. Cylinder cost is a separate one-time charge on the first run; repeat orders quote at a lower per-Kg rate because the cylinders are ready with us. Higher order quantities improve per-Kg rates further.

Who owns the printing cylinders?+

The cylinders are engraved against your artwork and held with us for your future repeat orders. The cylinder cost is invoiced on the first run; you do not pay it again on repeats. If you ever want to move the cylinders to another supplier, we release them per the commercial terms in your quotation.

What payment terms do you offer?+

Standard terms for new clients are stated in the quotation we issue — typically an advance against order confirmation and final payment before dispatch. Established clients can request credit terms; we evaluate case by case.

Lead time & samples

How long does a first order take?+

Typical first-run lead time is 20–30 working days from artwork sign-off. Most of that is cylinder engraving — once the cylinders are ready, the print and lamination run together in days. The formal lead time for your order is stated in the quotation.

What is the lead time on a repeat order?+

10–15 working days because the cylinders are ready with us — we move straight to print and lamination. We hold cylinders for your active SKUs, so back-to-back repeats are quick.

Can I see physical samples before placing an order?+

Yes — we can show ready samples and previous work that demonstrate the materials, lamination quality, and rotogravure print fidelity. Custom artwork samples are produced once cylinders are engraved (part of the first-run cost), so most buyers commit to spec based on a press-ready proof rather than a one-off sample.

Materials & customisation

What materials do you use?+

PET (polyester) for the print substrate, MET PET (metallised polyester) or BOPP / MET BOPP for the barrier layer, and LDPE (Natural or N/F grade) for the heat-seal inner layer. Pearl BOPP and Milky LDPE are available for category-specific structures. We laminate with solvent-less polyurethane adhesives matched to the substrate stack.

How many printing colours do you support?+

Up to 8 colours in a single rotogravure pass — sharp, photo-quality output. Most branded SKUs use 4–6 colours: a spot brand colour, full CMYK process colour, white as a base layer on metallised substrates, and a registered matt or gloss varnish.

What artwork format should I send?+

Send your artwork as a layered PDF, AI, or CDR file with fonts outlined, spot colours called out, and all images at 300 DPI. We return a press-ready proof for sign-off before cylinders are engraved. If you do not have artwork yet, we work with a panel of packaging designers who do.

Can the pouch have a transparent window?+

Yes — we offer transparent window pouches (clear strip with printed surround), fully transparent rolls (PET + clear LDPE), and one-side window / one-side metallic combinations. The window is created by leaving a print-free strip on the laminate during printing.

Delivery & support

Where do you deliver?+

We deliver pan-India through trusted transporters, or via a transporter of your choice. Freight charges depend on destination, weight, and delivery timeline; they are quoted separately and noted in the quotation.

Do you handle export orders?+

Yes — we manufacture for export with the destination-country marks your buyer requires (country of origin, importer details, lot codes, BIS marks if relevant). Documentation support is by mutual arrangement; we can quote with or without freight to a CIF / FOB destination as needed.

How do I track my order during production?+

Our team shares status updates at the key milestones — artwork approved, cylinders engraved, lamination scheduled, print started, ready for dispatch. WhatsApp is the fastest channel for spot updates.
